Colwick Church

On arrival at the church,we heard noises from the inside the church while waiting outside. Then we went into the base of the tower where again we heard unexplained noises from the far side of the church. On investigation we could find on obvious sources from where the noises could have come from and had to categorise them as unexplained.

Outside in the graveyard we heard noises in the area of Mary Keys gravestone a servant of John Musters. We investigated the area on every occasion that we heard noises and we could find no sources or explanation for them.

One of our team on another occasion saw a shadowy shape in the corner of his eye next to the gravestone of Thomas Elnor. We immediately took some photographs of the area which showed one very bright orb in the exact position where he had indicated he had seen the shadowy shape. See the picture above. On closer investigation of the area we found a cold spot of about 1 metre square directly in front of the grave. The sensation felt as if you were standing in front of an open freezer which you could pass in and out of by walking through the area.

Moving back to our original position about 10 metres away from the grave stone another member of the team saw light anomalies about 2 meters behind the same grave stone. One was a moving streak of light going towards the area of the grave stone. The light was about a foot long and very thin. Another team member saw a streak of light moving across the front of the bushes about 2 feet off the ground. And then another team member saw a very still coloured light about a foot off the ground that quickly vanished and then reappeared for a few moments.

We will be going back to Colwick Church soon so check our events board  in the forum if you would like to come with us.
